The young new artist, Eric Church, has done it again and released a new, chart-topping album. His newest album is titled â€Å"CHIEF†. This album has made its way right up to the top of the charts shortly after its release. His first song on this album â€Å"Homeboy† showed his fans that this album was going to be a rude (but rocking) awakening to the country charts! Church’s album was named â€Å"CHIEF† for an appropriate reason; he says, ‘Chief is my nickname on the road.† When Eric Church sings his music, his songs reflect his life, and the kind of person he is. His hit song â€Å"Smoke a Lil’ Smoke† describes the way he acts and deals with things. â€Å"Homeboy†, his first single on â€Å"CHIEF†, deals with social issues and with everyday life. His newest hit â€Å"Springsteen† expresses how the old summer memories he has with a past girlfriend are remembered when he hears a Bruce Springsteen song. In my opinion, Eric Church is a great artist; and I am excited for each new release he has because I know he will pull me in with his strong lyrics to his songs. I would recommend â€Å"CHIEF† to anyone who loves country music, but you should also know that Church’s style of music is more on the â€Å"Acoustic-Rock† side†¦ or as I like to call it, â€Å"The Wild Side†.
